Instructions

  1. Prepare the cakes: Unwrap the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and place them in a large bowl.
  2. Mix into dough: Use a handheld mixer to blend the cakes until a crumbly dough forms. Stir in the festive sprinkles thoroughly.
  3. Form truffle balls: Scoop the dough using a tablespoon and roll it between your palms to form balls. Place each ball on a parchment-lined baking sheet and repeat until all dough is used.
  4. Melt white chocolate: Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl using the microwave or double boiler method until smooth.
  5. Dip truffles: Using a fork or dipping tool, coat each cake ball fully in the melted white chocolate. Let excess chocolate drip off and return the coated balls to the baking sheet.
  6. Prepare red candy drizzle: Melt the red candy melts in a piping bag or ziplock bag in the microwave in 30-second bursts, massaging the bag between each interval to ensure an even melt.
  7. Decorate truffles: Snip the tip of the bag and drizzle the red candy melts over the truffles. Sprinkle green sanding sugar on top for decoration.
