Main Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 8 ounces whipped cream
- 18 ounces box brownie mix
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips plus extra for topping
Instructions
- Heat Brownie Mix: In a large glass bowl, add the dry brownie mix and microwave in 30-second increments, stirring after each, for a total of 2 minutes. Set aside and allow to cool slightly.
- Beat Cream Cheese: In another large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Combine Ingredients: Add the warmed brownie mix and milk into the cream cheese, then beat together until well combined and smooth.
- Fold in Whipped Cream and Chips: Gently fold the whipped cream and 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips into the mixture, being careful not to deflate the whipped cream.
- Serve and Garnish: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and sprinkle additional mini chocolate chips on top.
- Enjoy: Serve immediately with your favorite dippers such as pretzels, fresh fruit, graham crackers, or cookies.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute cream cheese and whipped cream with vegan alternatives.
- If you prefer a thinner consistency, add a bit more milk gradually until desired thickness is reached.
- The dip is best served chilled but can be brought to room temperature before serving if preferred.
- You can also mix in nuts or swirl in caramel for added flavor variations.
