Ingredients
Scale
Cauliflower
- 1 medium head of cauliflower
Seasoning and Coating
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Prepare Cauliflower: Cut the cauliflower into even sized florets to ensure they cook evenly.
- Mix Seasonings: In a small bowl, whisk together smoked paprika, turmeric powder, garlic powder, parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat Cauliflower: In a large bowl, add the cauliflower florets and the seasoning mixture. Toss well to coat. Pour in olive oil and toss again so the spices and oil evenly coat the florets.
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 5 minutes to prepare it for cooking.
- Cook Cauliflower: Place the seasoned cauliflower in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Cook for 10 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy on the edges.
- Serve Immediately: Remove from the air fryer and serve hot for the best crispiness.
Notes
- Serve with a spicy mayo dipping sauce made by combining ¼ cup sour cream, ¼ cup mayonnaise, and 2 tablespoons hot sauce for extra flavor.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat leftovers in the air fryer or microwave until warmed through to maintain crispiness.
- To cook from frozen cauliflower, add an additional 4 to 5 minutes to the cooking time in the air fryer.
