Dry Rub
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper

Wings
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Heat the oven to 200C/400F and arrange a rack in the middle of the oven for even cooking.
- Prepare Dry Rub: In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and baking powder if using to create the spice blend.
- Coat Wings: Place the chicken wings in a baking dish and sprinkle the spice blend over them. Toss to coat evenly. Drizzle olive oil over the wings and mix to coat all pieces thoroughly.
- Bake Wings: Bake the wings for 45 minutes until golden and crispy, turning halfway if desired for even crispiness.
- Make Garlic Sauce: While wings are baking, melt butter in a small pot over low heat. Add minced garlic and chopped parsley, stirring until fragrant. Remove from heat.
- Finish Wings: Remove wings from oven, pour garlic butter sauce over them, and sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
- Final Bake: Return wings to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until the sauce is absorbed and wings are crispy and browned.
