Description
Melted Snowman Cookie Dough Bites are adorable and delicious no-bake treats that combine edible cookie dough, white chocolate ganache, and festive decorations to create fun snowman-shaped bites perfect for holiday celebrations or winter-themed parties.
Ingredients
Scale
Cookie Dough
- 2 cups store-bought or homemade edible cookie dough
Decorations
- 9 mini Oreos
- 18 Rolo chocolate candies
- 18 snowflake sprinkles (optional)
- Black and orange pearl sprinkles, for decorating
Ganache
- 2 cups (240 g) white chocolate chips
- 2 Tbsp. coconut oil
Instructions
- Portion Dough: Portion cookie dough into 1-Tbsp. scoops on a parchment-lined baking sheet, making 18 scoops total. Freeze dough until very firm, about 15 minutes.
- Prepare Oreos: Separate Oreos carefully and scrape off the frosting; set it aside optionally for a snack.
- Melt Ganache: In a medium heatproof bowl, microwave white chocolate chips and coconut oil in 15-second increments, stirring after each, until melted and smooth. This should take about 1 minute.
- Create Ganache Rounds: Spoon 18 rounds of ganache, about 1 inch in diameter, onto another parchment-lined baking sheet. Keep the rest of the ganache for dipping and decorating.
- Assemble Hats: Dip the smaller end of each Rolo candy into the remaining ganache and attach it to the flat side of the Oreo, forming a snowman hat. If using, dip snowflake sprinkles into ganache and attach at the rim where Rolo meets Oreo for decoration.
- Make Snowman Bodies: Roll each cookie dough scoop into a smooth ball. Using a fork, dip each ball into the ganache to coat it fully, then gently press it onto a ganache round on the baking sheet. Before the chocolate sets, decorate with 2 black sugar pearls for eyes, 3 to 4 black sugar pearls arranged in a semicircle for the mouth, and 1 orange sugar pearl for the nose. Then place the assembled hat on top.
- Set and Serve: Let the chocolate set completely before serving, about 20 minutes.
Notes
- Use edible cookie dough safe for raw consumption to ensure safety.
- Mini Oreos can be replaced with other small sandwich cookies if preferred.
- If you don’t have coconut oil, substitute with vegetable oil or butter.
- For easier decoration, use tweezers to place the pearl sprinkles.
- Store the bites in the refrigerator to keep the ganache firm if not serving immediately.
