Ingredients
Scale
Slider Components
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- ¾ pound thin-sliced deli turkey
- ¾ pound thin-sliced Swiss cheese
Butter Mixture
- ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- ½ tablespoon Dijon mustard
- ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tablespoon everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 9×13-inch casserole dish with foil and spray the bottom with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
- Slice Rolls: Without separating the rolls, slice them horizontally in half. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared casserole dish in an even layer.
- Assemble Sliders: Layer the thinly sliced deli turkey evenly over the bottom half of the rolls, then add a layer of Swiss cheese on top.
- Top Rolls: Place the top half of the Hawaiian rolls over the cheese layer, covering the sliders completely.
- Prepare Butter Mixture: Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl or in a saucepan on the stovetop. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and everything bagel seasoning until well combined.
- Brush Butter Topping: Brush the seasoned butter mixture generously over the tops of the rolls. Allow the rolls to sit for 5 minutes to absorb some of the butter mixture.
- Bake Sliders: Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is completely melted and the sliders are warmed through.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and serve the sliders warm for best flavor and texture.
Notes
- For a meal, plan on serving 3 sliders per person; for appetizers, serve 1-2 sliders per person.
- Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze them for up to 3 months.
- Ensure rolls are tightly packed in the pan to maintain structure and even heating.
- Feel free to substitute Swiss cheese with provolone or mozzarella for a different flavor profile.
- Everything bagel seasoning can be homemade or store-bought; adjust amount to taste.
